While the will is present, the time and money aren’t to produce surveys for all the regions within America’s pyrogeography. So this is where I’ll try to include them – long-narration essays rather than suites, or (if you will) cabins and tar-paper shacks rather than mansion-crowning estates. I’m hoping I can get to Utah, Alaska, Nevada, the Lake States, and the Northeast. But we’ll see. Perhaps I’ll have a chance to continue after the formal project has concluded. I’d like to.
